Join us for a Virtual Authors Series event with Rosearl Julian West ’73. She will discuss her memoir, Reflections: My Journey on Arunah, which chronicles her life as she grows up with her family in a corner rowhome in West Baltimore and becomes an award-winning radio news reporter. In innovative fashion, her memoir reveals the many humorous, heartwarming, and harrowing experiences of her youth as they occurred during gentle and turbulent times.

West has dedicated her career to delivering insightful and impactful news. With an impressive tenure at notable radio stations such as WBAL-AM and WEAA-FM, she has garnered numerous accolades for her contributions to broadcast journalism. Beyond her professional achievements, West has served as a public relations specialist, a mentor, and an active community member. A proud graduate of Western High School and Goucher College, she cherishes her family, hobbies, and the vibrant community of Gwynn Oak, MD, where she resides with her husband, Chip.

The event will be moderated by La Jerne Terry Cornish ’83, M.Ed. ’94, P ’18, former AAGC director, and current president of Ithaca College.
